The Department of Peace and Conflict Studies and the Latin American and Latino Studies Program will be screening the three-part, epic documentary, The Battle of Chile, on September 9 (Part 1), September 10 (Part 2), and September 11 (Part 3) at 5:00-7:00 p.m. in LPAC room 301.

This scheduling is meant to welcome the community back to campus and to commemorate the anniversary of the U.S.-sponsored coup d’état against the democratically elected government of Salvador Allende in Chile on September 11, 1973.

We’ll serve dinner at 5:00 p.m. and begin the film a couple of minutes later, to be followed by a discussion. There will be a raffle for those who attend all three films, so mark your calendars and help us spread the word!

Please reach out to Prof. Michael Wilson-Becerril or Prof. Désirée Díaz if you have any questions or requests.
